adam0311:
Thanks for your advice. I had applied for Law to the following uni's - UCL, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Kent & Northumbria. I chose the ones which have a strong Environmental law program/modules and/strong LLM program.
Results:
UCL - reject
Nottingham - Conditional - TOEFL-ibt 109
Kent - Conditional - TOEFL ibt 87
Northumbria - COnditional - 2 more AP 4's
Edinburgh - Unconditional
I am thinking of firming Nottingham (beautiful campus too) . I need your help with my insurance choice. Would Northumbria be ok? I visited all of them during Christmas and I liked Newcastle better than Canterbury.

It would be wonderful if you could show me the ropes then My immediate family doesn't speak to the Jewish side anymore and they don't identify themselves as Jewish.
Do you have msn?

Hmm, kind of My religious background is somewhat confusing, even for me. But I have to say I feel most at home religious wise in a Jewish setting, though I wish to fully convert one day.
There seem to be quite a lot of Jewish people at Durham, actually I met one on the open day. Although certainly far less than in America.

Yeah, I did, it was amazing We're in for a treat when we go I got to stay in the keep of the castle, it has an amazing view, the bar is really atmospheric and the library is so cute, with a little balcony over the great hall It's so much like hogwarts I thought I was dreaming
They did say though that for the first term we'll be there they're doing a lot of renovation, so the 20 freshers that are lucky enough to get a room in the castle will have to go elsewhere for the first term, and we're probably going to eat somewhere else for the first term too. But it's a small price to pay - the college was really amazing

Hi, I see we're both hopefully going to Castle this October I'm Evie Did you go to one of the open days?
-
Congrats on firming!

Yeah unless I get into the States (which, as you said, looks unlikely), I'll be firming Durham. Really looks like a great uni, and the sport available there is a huge plus for me
-
I notice you have an offer from Durham, planning on taking it up?
