Hello! I see that you were successful in your application to read Classics (4 years). I'm applying for that course at Cambridge this year and I was just wondering what I should expect at the interview and particularly the language aptitude aspect of the interview process? As there doesn't seem to be any specific preparation to find online. Thank you! x

Yeah we don't have any teacher photos, so I guess they're not so bad.
Still, jokes about individual teachers have come up a lot, so I guess they haven't clocked yet...
Haha and you'd have to watch everyone else paying less fees :P
-
Hahaha that is genuinely hilarious!!
Yeah we've got memes too, still somehow under the limelight though...
Not for long I suspect, our school is pretty vigilant with these things, and there's certainly teacher-offensive stuff there!
And yeah that's natural for King's types :P
-
Heh, exactly!
People used to not only forge signatures, but try to cover them up in writing- we then got separate sheets for them, and the sheet-losing began...
Yeah that's probably true :P

We have bad notes, where you get something written in your diary, usually what you've done. Has to be signed by your parents.
Pretty scary stuff in the old days...
-
Hahaha we have those as well!! Although we call them merits.
Wholeheartedly agree, terrible lack of manners.
-
Yeah it's so true, but what can you do, there's always gonna be people like that- like the guys who ask for homework when none's been set, or worse, ask to give it in when it's not requested!
-
Yeah my parents are laid back about that kinda stuff :P
But I hate people who snake others out!!
Once a guy said, in front of both my head of year and the head of EPQ, in a debate speech how I'd bunked to do my EPQ... Wasn't good.
-
Damn, that is SERIOUSLY bad luck.
Once two friends stayed out after lunch and came back like an hour late, got into so much trouble...
They just pretended they got lost, but it was pretty obvious given their character :P

Really was a rest, the last lecture put everyone to sleep. Most classic quiet, slow, monotonous voice ever. Yeah English lectures before Christmas were like that for us; although today was useful because the chief examiner gave us some top tips for essay-writing
