Hi - I was wondering if we apply for accommodation having firmed an unconditional offer (so definitely going) are we likely to receive an offer before the end of august? If so are we more likely to get out accommodation preference?
-
Yes, you can. Make sure that you put down the name of the other student that you both want to live with and we will see what we can do. We can't guarantee that we can definetely put you together but you can request it.

Hi
I was just wondering with the Standard Twin Ziggurat can mixed sex couples apply to live in one together? Thanks!

Hi
Accommodation isn't allocated on a first come first served basis at all. We pretty much do all of the allocations at the same time after the A-level results come out in August. Someone who applies for a room today will have exactly the same chance of getting their top choice as as someone who applies the day before the deadline on July 31st.
The closest accommodation to the MED school is Constable Terrace but you can't select individual residences on the application form just the type of room. Constable would fall under "En Suite Campus."
Hope this answers your questions.

Hi there! I was wondering how is accommodation allocated (i.e. on a first come first basis etc). Also, what is the nearest accommodation to the medical school? Thank you!

Hi there
Sorry about the delay in replying. I don't come on here very often outside of the summer when everyone has questions!
You are right in saying that Insurance students don't get a guarqantee of a room but this year we did manage to help nearly all of them. It's difficult to say at this stage what the situation will be like in 2013 but I would hope that we would help more people than we couldn't.
Hope this is a bit clearer. Of course, if you really wanted to guatentee of a room you could lways put us down as your first choice!
Cheers
Matt

Hi,
I've applied to UEA for 2013 and I was wondering, if I was to put UEA for an insurance, how likely is it that I would get a room? I know you can't guarantee rooms, however what are my chances? Is it most insurance people DON'T get places, but you can place a few, or do most GET places and there are a few that you can't? Any info will be appreciated

Hi. I am a new undergraduate student and I'm wondering if all the accommodation offers have been given out. I submitted the application the day before the deadline but I still haven't received any email regarding the accommodation (apart from the application confirmation email). Thank you very much

I'll be honest with you here, I'm not an expert on how the bursey system works for Health students. Your best course of action will be to contact the Faculty of Health here at the UEA for some clearer advice. Sorry I can't be more help.
