Leicester sounds like a good choice but whats MMI?
Thnaks x

In regards to reapplying, have you thought about Leicester? They only look at your top 6 GCSE's so you would be on maximum points there & i'm sure you will do well again in your UKCAT, so you would very likely get an interview (which is MMI & may suit you better than the standard interview format) x

1) Where did you apply and what are you stats? Because if you made random choices then you could by applying wisely and knowing the system which is what I did. I applied to where I felt I was most likely to get an interview, regardless of whether or not I loved the uni.
2) I'd take another gap year, and if it doesn't work out then go for a 5th option and grad entry.
3) Were they pre interview rejections? If so then your ps/UKCAT needs work. If you had interiews then interview technique needs work.
4) You need to consider if you can handle another gap year, they're really tough, make sure if you take one you have lots planned, I kept myself very busy to stop myself going mad haha!
Good luck with everything and I hope you get in next time I never thought I'd actually get the grades and an offer but you just need to believe in yourself.

Try not to worry, you'll get them! I'm not sure about reapplying to Nott. Still havn't got any feedback as to which part of my application prevented me from getting an interview. Thanks for the heads up with the success stories, will be trawling through them tonight while also trying to find youtube clips worthy of your help! 8)
Good luck x

ohh && search 'Medicine Resit Applicants' Success Stories?' on TSR. I know your not exactly a resister but it contains stories of success that may help to motivate you

I think that sounds like a good plan
& I’m pretty envious that you will be jetting off to Fiji while I’m slogging over my A2’s
I definitely will (if I manage to get my grades and actually go) Will you reapply to Nottingham?
-
I think I will take another year out considering how competitive grad entry is. Indias probably morphing into fiji though as it all depends on whether I can get a healthcare assistant job or something along those lines soonish. Do keep in touch once you go to med school, not only because I love our scintalating converstion but also because you could be a mole on the inside ?
My academic life is literally one big **** up after the next...

If it were me, I would take a year out and re-apply (but then use the 5th choice for BioMed or something so, if I didn't get any offers again, I could go for graduate entry)
Are you still going to go to India this year? (I think that was you plan wasn't it?)
Hope your ok x

Thanks for the support. Deciding what to do, take another year out and re-apply, go for graduate entry or do something else entirely. I'm leaning towards the first one. Any thoughts?

ahhhh I'm so sorry!
I don't expect it will make you feel much better right now but I guess you have to try and believe that there's a bigger (and better) plan for you.
Now would probably be the time for me to send you a motivational/cheer up video but i'm not sure that any I could find would do the trick xx
