They wanted an A in History, which i couldn't provide

I couldn't get it remarked unfortunately, despite my teacher agreeing it was undermarked, but thats life for ya. I guess i have to learn to stop being so harsh on myself

Yup cwk ****ed things up. My Leeds offer was AAA for History and i got AAB. 3 UMS off an A in History because the exam board marked my cwk down So clearing it was.

Haven't had the chance to visit Cardiff as its so far away, thats my main concern about going really now i'm finally over Leeds. Oh well, i won't know unless i try will i?

Yeah i think you're right, i'm finally starting to cheer up. Leeds is great but i don't think prestige is the be all and end all, TSR has brainwashed us Hardly going to London Met are we?

I decided i'd go insane on a gap year so i'm starting at Cardiff next week. Also resitting the coursework that let me down in case things go badly and i have to transfer or whatever.

I know exactly how you feel, I missed out by a couple of ums too and its absolutely soul destroying look on the bright side tho, Essex is still a fairly decent uni! You may like it more than you think!
