  1. Hi,
I've been told my parents p60's haven't been received, so I've asked for the non means tested part of the loan to be given to me. However, every time I call student finance, no one seems to be able to give me a accurate time frame in which the money will be paid!
    Could you help me please?
    Thanks,
    Annabel williams
  2. Hello,
I have applied for tuition fee loan from eu-team, but now i'm experiencing some difficulties:
When I first applied , my place at the university was not yet confirmed. Thus I have put down my firm choice as the university I will be attending.
Unfortunately my firm choice has declined my application, although a place for me at my insurance university was confirmed. Therefore I wish to make the appropriate change in my student finance application, but seems that I can not do that anymore. There is no 'make change to my application' button anymore.. i'm lost here
  3. Hi I've been accepted onto my course, I was unable to attend my registration day, just wondered will this effect my student finace pay date or will it be as normal

About Me

  • About Student Finance England

    Name
    Student Finance England
    About me
Student Finance England will be here from 20-25 August from 3-5pm to answer your questions about funding your tuition fees or living costs.

We can help you work out what you could be entitled to and talk you through the online application process. Please don’t post any personal information, like your Customer Reference Number, in the forum chat.

How do I apply to SFE?
If you have just secured a place through clearing or have already got a place but haven’t applied for student loans or grants, you should do it now. The sooner you get your application in the sooner we can arrange to pay you an initial assessment so you have some money as close to the start of your course as possible. Our advisors will be here to give you all the advice you need to apply.

Your parents and partner can also support your application by giving us their details online too; this is the best way to avoid any delays in your funding.

Remember to check what evidence your application needs and send this to us as well.

Have you already applied but want to change your details?
If you have already applied for student finance but are changing your course or your university, you can do this online too by logging into your account! You can do this even if you applied on paper. You can also adjust your loan amount but you can’t ask for more than the maximum you’re entitled to.

Don’t forget - you must register at your university or college before we can pay your student finance!

    Go online!
If you can’t make any of our live chats with the SFE advisors, you will find all of the information you need about how much you can get, how you apply, what evidence you need to provide and when you get paid at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance

We look forward to hearing from you over the next week.
