Having family somewhere near by always helps! Selly seems kind of weird though - food shops and pubs but not much else - The whole of birmingham seems kind of weirdly laid out to me tbh - city centre - broad street - then everywhere else is kind of isolated and weirdly populated. Yeah being dead close to uni is such a bonus!
Never asked you before- do you regularly go out in birmingahm or do you just stick to dudley?

Is it ? That's where all second and third year students usually live - I just followed blindly! But honestly, I would be wayyy more scared being a student trying to find a house in London! Rent is just insane here Are you worried at all?
-
I shall do! Go out a fair bit in London, but actually tend to do more bars than clubs - central london is full of loads of awesome bar joints - especially Covent Garden!
Living in Selly Oaaaaaak !!! Heard of it?

Freshers was good! We had a freshers fortnight. It's a real change getting into the habit of going out every night - It did get a bit "samey" after a while though - but maybe that's because we really ended up having a freshers month! I have a lot of mates at UCL and LSE etc - and they've said that nights - because you are in London - tend not to be as focused on students - compared to what they would be if you were in more of a student town. You do have nights out like Student night at tiger tiger on a monday - you'd probably hate that because that is very student - but you have loadsss of other alternative non student nights in London theres no shortage there!!

Probably early september!! Excited not to be in halls this year - away from all the fickle drama! You'll probably be about the same for freshers week right? Excited for it?

No way!!
Well, explains some of the families on Jeremy Kyle...

Pahahaha! Brilliant!!! That is absolute class - what was it made out of? Intestine or something? Love the fact that it was found in a castle as well.
London is no where near as interesting!
I totally get you on the central london thing - Thats why I chose a uni outside of london I think - to change it up a bit - but still be in a town environment!!
-
Hahahahahaha! That's hilarious, because I know exactly what you're talking about! - I'm from Ealing - which technically is west London - but I've mostly been educated in Harrow - which is North West - but right next door to Ealing.
Central London has way more of a stimulating atmosphere though! When I was younger I used to spend my time a lot around Kensington and Chelsea, Notting Hill Gate - Central London is what makes being a Londoner fun!
What's the best thing about Dudley!?
