Evolution can be broken down into two parts; Microevolution and Macroevolution.

Although the two may seem to go hand in hand with another only one has sound evidence for it, and this is Microevolution. This is acceptable in Islam as it does not contradict anything form Quran and Sunnah as it only relates to the change in gene frequency within a population over a certain period of time when selective pressures are applied.

Macroevolution, however, is a fallacy - being something concocted out of a combination of arrogance and ignorance. It is the primary excuse for total denial of submission to God almighty. It also makes the idea of pure hedonism acceptable as it argues we are all simply primates with a high degree of sentience and are not divine beings.

I certainly don't doubt for a second that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created Adam (AS) the exact way explained in the Quran. Tbh the most famous geneticists (the ones who carried out the human genome project) don't even believe in evolution you know

I do not believe in macroevolution.
