Then I would say it isn't a social construct. If Aliens came from space and lived on Earth would you say they were the same as you ?

race is a social construct to the degree that everything in society is, namely fruit categories and names, football teams, restaurants, ice hockey, even chairs and tables as social constructs.
How do you tell one fruit from another ? one race from another ?

My argument is the same, being a social construct is irrelevant, even if it was, which it might not be.

Even if it was, you have to accept race is important in tracking down criminals. When describing a criminal, what do you notice most, out of all their physcial attributes ? Obviously it is their race. Also, why is categorising things by appearance wrong ? Look at fruit categories, tree categories, cat breeds, etc.

You still have to live by the rules and the world of a social construct or society. It's like video games, they all have different laws of physics, controls and rules. The laws of Earth will not apply if you live on Mars. Therefore even if they are social constructs, we have to live by them.

The names and categories for fruits, minerals, vegetables, trees etc are social constructs. That isn't a point of argument. You have to address the point at hand, which is IQ differences.
