  1. Hey how did the exam go? x
  2. Hi, saw your post about the Pardoner and how you weren't sure about how it's Gothic etc.
I felt exactly the same when we got given it my mind was blown as to why my teacher picked that over Macbeth - surely Macbeth is more Gothic? Anyway we had out last lesson yesterday and my teacher was saying how he takes the role of God (if you like) by 'forgiving' people of the their sins could be seen as Gothic as he is breaking boundaries and stepping out of his role also the fact that he is just doing it for the money rather that for the good of the people, you may already have this diea but just thought I'd put it out there cause I'm sure it will end up in my essay haha

  5. Yeah sure. Here's my email: knowlesyasmin5@gmail.com what's yours? xx
  6. Hey, what notes have you got on Pardoner's Tale? xx
  7. Could I please have a copy of your Browning notes.
I have some on Kite Runner/Gatsby if they are of any use?
  8. I'm not in Russia now, I'm in Minsk. Belarus is slightly dull due to the isolation it finds itself in, but Russia is supposed to be fun. Have you started getting to grips with the Russian Cyrillic alphabet? It looks daunting but you can learn it in an hour or so, and then just practise spelling locations in Russian (not Russia) - getting to grips with it.

I'd envisage that the first year or two will be the hardest verbally because of the lack of vowels in certain words. It's good that you're passionate though, you need that for a language of this difficulty. All I'll say is, it's no Spanish
  9. Independently, yes. My degree will be in geography, but I hope to learn Russian at the same time as this.

    How about yourself?
