  1. I guess your laptop is arrived and you're going to send me really cool replies from now on! I'm so happy about that, you know! 'Je me faisais un sang d'encre' means 'I was worried sick (about you!)'
I don't know why but it sounds better in french. Well, I'm terribly sorry for replying that late. Truth is I was on a trip to Paris last week with my classmates and I had plenty of things to do. I'm quite overbusy these days and will probably be the next few months as I have exams to sit! Wish me luck.

Thank you for your nice words. Oh, by the way, what do you want to become later? You're currently studying languages, right?

How is my spanish? Well... I would say it is okay. I'm way better at english than spanish, though. It's just a lack of vocabulary. Encantada, señor. How is yours?

I think it would be awesome to chat with you on Skype, dear. We'd laugh out loud and have so much fun speaking french and english. I'm sure your french is very good.
As for me, I've been learning english for 12 years, I think. Nowadays, everywhere you go, people speak english so you'd better speak it at a very young age. :^_^:
I really do love English, though.

My reply may not be as good as your previous one but I'm working on it. x
  2. Ha ha, I hope you won't be that late anymore because I've been waiting for your reply for ages, dear! I even thought you may have forgotten me already... "Je me faisais un sang-d'encre"<- That's a french idiom and I love it! :^_^:

Well, I'd say medicine is a long and demanding but rewarding career. I've always wanted to become a doctor ever since I was born. I have a strong desire to help people and to make a difference in their lives. I'd put all my heart in it! I know it takes a lot to become a doctor - I work hard, I mean very hard.

    Aw, that'll be great!
I love Spain - well - I mean I love Barcelona as it is the only spanish city I've been to.

"One of the hardest spoken languages in the world". Yes, it probably is for foreigners... I feel lucky enough to already be fluent in french, then.
  3. Hey! I sent you reply a while ago, but I'm unsure whether or not you got it! I hope your studies are grinding to a positive halt, and that you're looking forward to Easter. xx
  4. * what is it like, oops! ^^
  5. Yeah, how socialite and a busy-guy you must be!

Oh well, I see. Edinburgh seems to be a really nice city to study in, then! One of the perks of studying in Edinburgh is that I'll be surrounded by history almost everywhere I go.
I'm considering studying Medicine at the University of Edinburgh! In fact, that's my first choice.
I live in Lyon, France and have always wanted to broaden my horizons!:^_^:
I love travelling but, first and foremost, meeting new people and getting to know them. I'm doing some humanitarian stuff with UNICEF currently. I love it!

"Je suis très enchantée de faire ta connaissance ! Tout le plaisir est pour moi."
Thanks for filling me in. Have you ever been in France? Oh, by the way, how is it like to speak the world's leading international language, English? Just wondering.
  6. Hi there! You're from Edinburgh, right? I was thinking of applying to the University of Edinburgh for 2014 entry... I just do love that scottish accent, that historical capital city and its breathtaking landscapes. Is Edinburgh a vibrant and cosmopolitan city?
  7. Want my email instead? :L
  8. Damn, who neggs Stevie Wonder?! That's cold.
  9. Hola ! Discúlpame el retraso, he estado pas mal occupé I clearly share your nerdish language-switching. In fact, I find it pretty damn difícil to stay in just the one language, cosa molesta para mis amigos monolingues !

As for my degree, yep, Southampton is very flexible! I mixed up and changed modules and languages like nobody's business. And it was quite funny that I ended up there, because when I applied, I only wanted to study post A level German and French. In the end I was finding it a little tedious, so I decided to take ab initio Spanish, which was la mejor decisión de mi vida. And thus continued the decline of my German... So yes, unwittingly, I stumbled onto a degree course that turned out to be the best one I could've asked for!

Your course sounds great - honestly I wish I could study a non-European language someday. I'm not sure how well I would cope, but the challenge would be great! Y que bien que te esté gustando tanto conocer la cultura japonesa. Me imagino que irás ahí para tu year abroad? O aun no sabes?

    Enchanté Rahat!
  10. Hello! Que recado tan lindo, gracias.

Don't worry about being a stalker; we're all guilty of it de vez en cuando! I studied the BA Modern Languages course at Southampton, so I actually began with French, German and Spanish - before switching German to Portuguese in my final year. Essentially on such a course you only need to get two of your languages to C2 level and the third one to something like B1 in order to graduate, and because I love languages, this option allowed me to fulfil my linguistic nerdishness to the max! But essentially I specialised in French and Spanish.

Also, thanks for your comment about my signature! As per my signature, you gain a lot of love for understanding it! I take it you're at university already, what are you studying? And where?
