Way easier said that done :/ Lecturer emailed my yesterday to say the assignment would be back 'shortly' - still not back. We obviously have a very different idea of shortly.

I have signed up for a few summer internship things, so I will be: 1) Working 2) Doing summer research project with CompSci Dept 3) Doing a one-week, all expenses paid internship in London with The Search Engine!

Yeah, mine are 25th, 27th and 29th, so bang bang bang! And I know what you mean, I'm gonna be quitting job in September so I can concentrate on uni full-time. I only just got the day of my exam off the other day, it's on a Saturday -_- Procrastination is very very tempting :/ It's mine and fiance's 5 year anniversary today so talking day off to relax and celebrate, but really need to get on with it after!

Can't believe you still have things to submit! All our assignments were last minute too though. Been over 3 weeks and still had any back. Getting twitchy!

No worries! I'm now stupid busy too, and uni hasn't even started back yet! Job interview on Friday, applying for funding for research etc! I got 1A for Computing and 1B for Law - glad that one is over! How'd you do? Glad you're happy

Xmas/New Year was fine, pretty boring and uneventful. You? And I have been up to exactly nil - brilliant. Catching up on movies/series, reading lots and lots, doing all this funding stuff, and cooking new recipes to try out - making bread today, wish me luck!!

How did your exams go? Sorry, as usual, I was mega stressed with revising for exams. Didn't go as well as I'd hoped, but we'll see. Can you remember when the results come out? I'm gettin angsty already

I wished for work, and boy did I get some! I've found my computing module this year reaaaally hard, I've had to get tutoring and all sorts.

I'm enjoying it, but just waiting on them slapping down the work! I've only had lectures so far, so not much, next week I've got tutorials starting, I've got set questions every week, and then homework from every tutorial, stuff for practicals and assignments...

My freshers was meh, I never do anything for it, just hang out with pals.

And no, they are not good at organising. I got a letter saying my presentation was gonna be Wed at 9am (!) so I emailed to confirm attendance, and she wrote back to tell me it's not been changed to Friday. At 1pm. In my CSC933 lecture. Yes, during my lecture, if front of all my classmates, I have to get this.
And yes, my Computing ones are all locked til Friday after 1pm :/
Law is on Monday though, will need to remember that! Because it's a 1st year module though they might lock it so all the further years can't steal the good slot. I can only do a 9am slot so I doubt that'll be booked out

I can't wait to go, buy folders and stuff

I'm so glad I study in Stirling! It freaked me out when I was in Edinburgh for Heriot Watt, it didn't feel right. I love that Stirling is all campus based
