Nope, first time sitting the F212 exam. We just do all sciences in June, instead of doing the first units in the January sittings.

I would say the new spec papers will serve you fine but if you are looking for some last minute reading there is no harm in having a look over the old material. Just don't start panicking if you see something you haven't revised, the likelihood is you don't need to know it.

Well I'm actually a medicine re-applicant. I have been successful this year so about to start studying medicine at Barts and The London in a month so very excited about that

I'd just like to thank you as well, you've provided some good information which could be useful for future applicants so thanks for letting me know about Durham's foundation year course, it's appreciated

With those AS levels applying this year is out of the question really.. you're best bet is either to resit the year and get AAA in 3 years (in which case you are restricted as by this page: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...Resit_Policies)

I wish there was someone I could recommend talking to about foundation courses but I can't think of anyone I'm afraid

It's up to you though, you could just do your A2's this year and apply to any foundation year courses your eligible for and if that doesn't work then you can go for the GEM route.
Or you can resit this year and apply the next to those that will accept your application and if that doesn't work out then consider GEM.

Neither option is particular great but at least there are some possibilities available to you

Yeah I'm aware of Bradford but haven't mentioned that since it's not a guarenteed link into medicine, much like BSMS biomed guarentees an interview if you get a 1st iirc but haven't got that down on the page either.

Despite having done a lot of work with the foundation course pages I'm not actually that confident with dealing with queries at the moment having never looked at them properly. If you are eligible then I don't see why not, but you must make sure you can apply before applying for obvious reasons.
