If you prefer the course here, and you like the city, then I think you should go for it! Okay, so your friends are at Southy and Portsmouth, but its a straight train from cardiff central, and doesn't cost too much if you book in advance! From what I've heard, even if you go to uni with your friends, you end up spending more time with them in the holidays then you do at actual uni! Trust me, your friends won't drift, when you get home you'll just slot back in to place! If you think you prefer Cardiff - go for it, don't let anything hold you back
