  1. Some website with free downloadable desktop wallpapers, it was just labelled "sexy asain chick", or something along those lines.
  2. How I wish I knew..
  3. No worries, any time. Question away :P Are you a photography student? Thank you! Don't give away your photos for free, go on courses run by people you admire, and shoot in the best possible light at sun rise or sunset. I'm actually thinking about picking up a camera myself. What do you shoot with? xoxox
  4. ...Art nude posing is down to the model, skills, how daring they are, how erotic they perceive themselves to be, what they look like etc. a lot of what I do sometimes have been influenced by the pre-Raphaelites, sometimes I get asked to pose like I've escaped a mental asylum, sometimes it's about shape/form/bendyness than looking human. I went to church with my family til I was 12 but my parents aren't that Christian, I then started going regularly when I was 17/18, 'reborn' I guess. Jesus isn't in the back seat any more :P Mum's totally okay with it, thinks my photos are pretty xoxox
  5. Yep, atmosphere, mood, beauty are all an element of my favourite photos, I'm very lucky to work with some great people. I've been asked a few times, as have model friends, and I guess I think a lot so I can justify what I do and why I do it - have had to argue against exhibitionism and intent before. Had a photographer write me pages and pages about how I'm doing this for attention and that I'm making sexy photos regardless of my intent.
  6. ...Some people see it as pornography, and to those I ask, if someone painted the photo would that make it art? You might want to shield your child from it, but would you not take them into a gallery? let them see Michelangelo's David? I set out to create art, and obviously this is in the eye of the beholder. Whether or not something can be classed as porn is either down to intent or output - are you putting it on a pay per view porn site? Is it intended to titillate the viewer? Are you shooting for yourself, or to make money from a predominantly male audience?

Some food for thought there, sorry for the essay :P x x x x
  7. ...So the chapel/chanting witch photo might be art to some photographers, but a road I'm just not interested in personally. If I don't see the artistic merit in an idea I'll say so, other times I'll be hired to do as I'm told. Occasionally I'll be asked to do poses/concepts that are naff, and as they aren't offensive and I don't want to be mean, and the photographer thinks it's a cool idea I can't really refuse. As for photos being used for alternative purposes, I have no control over what people do in their own homes. I'm not setting out to add to someone's **** bank (I don't do tacky glamour, would never do explicit work, or open leg). I know it happens (I've even had "fan mail" saying so), so I guess in this case ignorance is bliss.
  8. Thank you! I'm very lucky to have worked with some talented artists, photographers, painters and makeup artists alike. Lol a lot of people are! It depends what your aims are as a model or tog when you set out to make a picture - to make people think, to create something beautiful, to incite a reaction, the shock factor? I know some people that have done shoots where they've used fake blood and a doll to make it look like they've murdered their baby, some of it just isn't my cup of tea. Then again there was the "artist" that chopped a cow in half and put it in the Tate Modern, didn't he? So it depends what your limits are as an artist and what you are setting out to achieve/create.
  9. Hiya! Thank you Christianity doesn't really interfere, in fact many photographers I've worked with are Christian who create art to celebrate the beauty God has created in beautiful locations and women. I have however turned down shoots involving shooting in a chapel simply because I'm not comfortable with it, and I get emails saying "you look like a pagan person, I want to shoot you looking like you're a chanting witch" which get a straight 'no' from me. Granted a lot of Christians wouldn't be cool with it, but then a lot of us have differing views on divorce, abortion, and homosexuality to name a few. Fire away if you have any more questions J x
