Hi! I read you're an Oxford student and I'm looking for advice for my PPE application... Looking in the web page and going through the PPE thread I couldn't find an answer, so I hope you can help me!
Do I need to supply a writing sample with my application? If yes, do I need to write one JUST for the this purpose? Because I'm not from the UK and all the writing samples/ essays I could supply are in Italian!

I've been to one of the law days quite recently at Oxford... however I think you're totally correct with the idea that I should try a classics day (and look past the mods exams).. And; the point about the would I be considering it if the teachers weren't lauding the benefits... that's the question I've been struggling with.. I'm pretty love-hate with it at the moment. Often I really enjoy the verse literature, but hate the prose.. and the language/stories I often enjoy, so altogether I'm not too sure where I stand.. I think I need to talk to a few current students..

Thanks for answering my question about PPE.
If you don't mind, I have a few more:
Do PPE-ists normally enter first year as students who can write 2 essays per week without trouble or is it something most Oxford students just have to get used to?
How much extra academic help is there for PPE students if tutors and lecturers do not suffice?
