hey, wrestling with trusts as well. recommend a book by james penner - 'the law of trusts'. very comprehensive, yet also reader friendly.

They aren't fun, the other downer is that they can (in stras at least) be any time between 8 and 8.

I had about the same amount of hours, but French students have a lot more (we did 4 modules a term and they did 7). For those subjects you do tutorials (TD) in, called Grandes Matieres, there's about the same amount as here but for pure lecture subjects, Petites Matieres it's more just a case of knowing the stuff from the lectures.

Generally there's less of an emphasis on having your own opinion, more just knowing lots.

Haha it's OK, I had a similar 'Oh ****' moment and promptly ignored all my other grades just focussing on that, as you do!

It's OK, takes some getting used to (3 hr lectures ) but you'll quickly get into it. The system's quite complicated in that you seem to get quite a lot of exams (you'll gradually learn the full system of devoir sur table, galop, grande matuiere and petite matiere) but they're generally quite nice to ERASMUS students and it's generally amaaazing!
