Just posted in that computer thread and remembered that we spoke aaaages ago. How are you?
The quote in your signature is probably the best Doctor Who quote of all time. Although I do quite like..
"I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the Constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old and I'm the man who is gonna save your lives and all 6 billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?"
Ah I see :/ No not many unis do offer it. I want to do Arabic and Mandarin alongside my course and only 1 uni offers that and I can't afford London, so I could do law conversion after a history and modern languages degree
I'm just wondering about your university choice juxtaposed with your results. Your results are amazing! So obviously you could have gone to pretty much any uni anywhere, so was it Southampton's Legal course that attracted you? As I'm still uncertain if i want to do law or history and modern languages, and Southamptons European legal studies course always has looked interesting, so was it a deciding factor for you?
Gosh, interesting combination! Do you want to practise in Spain?
Nevertheless, Judge Judy can be fun. Are you doing Law?
How do you manage to live on 100 a month? I can barely manage on 1500 :/ .
Funnily enough, Law as well!
I know - it's very frustrating. I'm not sure whether to feel hypocritical or not by eating meat and wearing leather shoes, although as some people have said already, you don't race your intended cow around a track and break its legs before killing it.
Right, I can understand you not taking rides if that's how tight things are. That's pretty hard - don't know how you cope but impressed that you do.
I heard Southampton is a pretty nice place to study. I am in Edinburgh doing Law. What degree are you studying?
Strange how all the arguments popping up are so predictable - like, OMG you vegetarians, you know nothing about horses or horse racing, we all eat meat so why worry, etc. All fundamentally irrelevant to the question at hand. It's like on some fundamental level people don't conceive of animals as feeling things, even though there is overwhelming evidence these days that they do.
