Haha, naa I do really want to go to Glasgow, loved it last year but I'm not going to throw away another year if they reject me this time. We'll see what happens though...
Yeah, I've been to Liverpool a few times and I really like it Great night out and home of The Beatles, got to be good! . Manchester's a great city, but couldn't go to uni here for the sole reason that this is where I've grown up and I want to go somewhere different. There's not a huge difference between the two as cities though, would recommend either of them.
Haha, I'm sure you'll get the grades to get in What're you predicted if you don't mind me asking like? I'm great thanks, just pulling through this third year... Not long until January now though, thank God...

Hey
Yeah it's very likely. I'm re-applying because Glasgow rejected me for being one UMS off a second A in English. Got ABBB in the end. If they gave me an offer then I'd strongly think about taking it just to get one back at them (I'm not bitter, honest) haha
But as it stands, it's Liverpool for me. Always a good idea to meet people before you go, you okay?

Durham is difficult to get into, but I thought I'd give it a shot as they don't have a policy on resit students. I'm retaking a Maths exam to bring my overall grades up to A*AA, but we'll see. I could very well be rejected within the next couple of days. If I were you, I'd submit your application with only four choices - if you start get a rejection from what you consider your safe, awesome choice, then you can add in an insurance. If not, you have a space to add in a crazy awesome choice! I did this, then when I got an unconditional from Liverpool I added in York. I'd suggest this strategy to anyone.

I'm applying for Durham, Bristol, York and Leeds too for English. Since I have an unconditional, Liverpool is now my absolutely fantastic backup. I'm also applying for some American colleges: the University of Chicago, Northwestern University and Amherst College.

Those are some nice unis! Have you thought about Nottingham? I LOVED the campus when I went to see it, but the compulsary drama elements were enough to put me off it entirely.
Thank you I started off with an A on results day (got 102 on my A2 exam), and had it remarked up to 114/120. I was really shocked XD
