Well of course I can find links because I've had to justify it so many times, but yeah, I fail to see why they want it. They're probably just trying to make us work hard still, it does actually work in my favour in terms of insurance and firms and stuff.

Yes I did! I have to get an A in English for NatSci. :L So random.
Hmm maybe it's just because we take four subjects. Do you learn Greek and Latin in Classics? Maybe that might be why?

I've heard next year will be much better for speaking exams! Apparently all we have to do is have a mini conversation with the teacher and speak about a book and a bit of German history. We're doing The Reader and the Berlin wall. It seems a lot less tense and the great thing is it means I won't miss books if I don't take English next year! Have you thought about what you will give up for A2?

Aha yeah, I was looking at application statistics for different subjects at different colleges...
Take Christ's, for example. Medicine had something like 150 applicants in 2011, Maths about 80. But Linguistics? Two.
