Hey! Thank you! I applied for German as my language and Politics as my specialism at UCL, and my statement was completely based on those two because I applied for German and Politics Joint Honours at my other Unis. I had a tiny bit of economic analysis in my PS but nothing huge, and no philosophy at all - I think Oxford put a lot of weighting on the TSA for whether or not you get an interview.

And yes, your universities are very competitive haha :P Especially UCL who accept only the best candidates... If I were you, I would apply to 3 or 4 universities that you want to go to, then 1 or 2 as a back up, just in case
