    Hi there - I'm a UK student in my 2nd year of A Levels and am interested in applying to Harvard as an undergrad; do you have any tips or advice? What is the situation with fees for UK students? I'm not currently taking Maths at A Level but am taking maths classes out of college as prep for SAT 1 - will it be a problem that I have not taken maths to higher level? My proposed major would be in French/French Literature/Philosophy. Would appreciate any advice, cheers

    Haha, last at there wasn't a finalists weekend so I have no idea.
    It'll be fine though... a mix of hard work and fun!!

    Hmm... I know a little bit in terms of SATs and basic terms, but none in terms of what they actually are looking for. I have done a little SAT preparation, but not a full test yet so I cannot give you numbers. I do the daily email they send out and I seem to get the majority of them right.
    I got 10 A*s and an A at GCSE and am predicted similar grades for A2.
    I'm not really good at any sports, although I do D of E and I do A LOT of extra-curricular stuff music-wise and a lot of volunterring.

    Thanks :P Sure. I guess i should start by asking the really mundane stuff so I don't start explaining all the things you already know. How much do you already know about applying to the USA? Have you done any SAT's yet? What are your grades, are you good at any sports?

    I did the Schumann, the first movement and the Cimarosa the first and second movements. :lol:

    I did the 3 Rustic Minatures.

    Grade 8 is amazing. :love:

    in december I think... i'm doing the schumann and the cimarosa and then the bach from st matthew's passion... they're hard!
