Found out by email on the 22nd. I know of one other person at Magdalen who also found out then. Although we talked to students in the year above and they said 3 of them heard from Magdalen before xmas and the 4th person to get in didn't here until early Jan, so they don't always send everything at once.

It was an open application. And yeah they pre-warned me, but I got both the pre-warning and the college email on Monday. And don't worry about asking me anything at all

And I have done a little preparation. Since I'm Irish, I'v had to start learning about the NHS from scratch. Other than that, I just want to revise some general concepts and my thesis and that's about it.

I haven't heard anything from any of my other choices yet, but Oxford is my number one so I'm happy for now

Sorry - me again - promise not to keep on contacting you - one last question of intrigue! Did the admissions office 'pre-warn' you that you were likely to get an interview or did you hear direct from your college? Also did you specify a specific college preference on your form?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. Still nothing so I can't help but feeling a little negative now! But still keeping my fingers crossed. I went to Oxford for my undergraduate and would love to go back, but always knew that it would be a long shot as a I got a 2.1 and haven't done their post BA study which they are keen on. Hey ho, keeping positive for now (or at least trying to!)

You must be very excited - have you done much preparation? How are your applications to the other courses going? Anything positive through yet?

Hi Cian, how are you? Congrats on your Oxford interview! Hope it doesn't look like I'm stalking you contacting you but I'm getting uber-anxious about whether I'll get an interview at Oxford (I'm also a grad) and wondered if you could tell me how and when you found out.

Also, could you tell me what your UKCAT was and what you've been doing since School/uni?
