  1. Yeah same...
    Talk later haha (after modules)
  2. Oh also, I just realised- the Colony, the place where 2nd year and most 3rd year Clare students live, is right next to Magdalene! Suppose I'll see you there
  3. Hahaa, that is pretty weird :P
  4. Yeah got a bit carried away haha.
Have never seen Magdalene but my uncle went there and liked it, I'm keen to look at more places!
Yeah reasonable numbers was another factor, 5 for Clare.
  5. Yeah a friend who's doing PPS said it's not bad at all.
Hmm, 90 seems so impossible now :/
    I'm sure it will
Hahaha yeah every science I reckon.

Ooh, lots of reasons- firstly I wanted to do the TSA because I thought I'd be good at it (that rules out the vast majority of colleges already), it only asked for one essay rather than two (I originally thought this was a plus, less work, but later regretted it because I found it hard choosing). But also it's perfect location, decent size, best politics society, good acting society, awesome music venue- cellars, student-run bar, progressive yet traditional, accommodation, and stunning beauty!

    And Magdalene?
  6. Yeah I think people are waiting for college-specific ones to do that... And maybe for their grades!
True about maths, I kinda wanna avoid it too- I think there's some stats no matter what in the psychology paper? With regards to 'if', we'd better get there!!! We're supposed to have DONE the hard part...

Yep it is pretty hard :/ And one of the most annoying BS-filled mark scheme types...
  7. Yeah that's why I'm not gonna join a Clare freshers' group until after results. The Cambridge one is big and no-one's talking, so I'm leaving it there just to quickly access anything useful once results come out, if they're good :P
I'm on AQA, not hating but it's not my best!
Yeah I'd do the three (it seems most people want to, from what I've heard) and similar to you in that I'd be choosing an extra that relates to my core subject- international relations. I think most sociologists do social anth, most politicians do IR and most psychologists do language.
But yeah I remain open-minded, I wouldn't even say for certain I'll be specialising in politics but seeing as I probably will it would be most useful for me to do IR.
If I wanted to do socio/psych in the second year though, that paper on research methods is probably very useful...
  8. Go onto the facebook group for Cambridge 2012 freshers
Hehe I reckon it's more useful finding college people rather than subject people!
Ah sociology- I should have taken it instead of bio lol
Yeah I guess, although I'll remain open-minded, and I like the other two atm anyway, just don't study them. Any idea what you're taking in the first year?
  9. Yeah that's true :P Not only through TSR, of course...
I'm terrified, it would be the worst thing ever!
Yeah we really shouldn't be on this during this precious time hehe
Got politics and biology, then coursework in the other two.
What do you do, Spanish and maths aside?
  10. Yeah much easier here. Ah right! Well I'll have to keep looking then haha
Lucky! Maybe they can help you find the others? :P And thanks

It is, wish I didn't need that A*, it's messing up my celebrations... (I have exams Tuesday/Wednesday, and two courseworks shortly after that :/)

    Yours too?
