How stressful? Well I'm not qualified yet so it's a bit difficult to say, but I suppose it's like any job, if you're having a really busy day then it might be stressful? Probably depends on how complex the patients are too? That sort of thing. And what sort of patients you have can depend on where you're working really.
General hours are 9-5 mon-fri.
And no, I don't think so haha. Probably sounds really sad but nothing immediately comes to mind when I try to think of anything I don't like?

Go onto the nhs jobs website and type in orthoptist, keep looking over a few weeks and youll see the different bands and salaries, you generally start as a band 5 on around 20k? The highest paid job I've saw was for a head of department in london, I think that was 65k?
And yeah I agree that there are more women than men, but I think this is changing, judging by the amount of lads there are in uni. And no I don't know of any reason for it?
