  1. hi fizz123 Im a new member in the student room Im a 5th year medical student ,I was reading one of your posts about the electives in uk
    ey guys. Is it possible to do an elective if i have a contact ( ie- consultant) working in a certain London hospital? or do i need to go through the normal channels. Im a UK citizen- so don't need any visa stuff.
    Im a uk citizen too but Im studying abroad,was searching the net
    I was wondering did you manage to do your elective in the end? please if possible send me some advise

  3. Hi, I dunno whether there's any specific way of doing a CV for an elective application. I should think that a simple one laying out your education, research, presentations and interests should be enough. A career statement is unlikely to be mandatory but may give you the opportunity to explain why you would benefit from this elective.
