Buna! Am gasit postarile tale din intamplare, in timp ce ma interesam de univ. In primul rand, felicitari pt locul la Oxford! Eu aplic pt 2013 la Fine Arts (Oxford, UCL, Kingston, etc) acum si, cum sunt la liceu teoretic, sunt putin descurajata. Voiam sa iti pun cateva intrebari inainte sa trimit aplicatia, daca nu te superi. De cate scrisori de recomandare ai avut nevoie si de la cine? Si ai trimis si foaia matricola si alte diplome odata cu scrisorile de intentie si de rec?

Sadly I don't have that many sketchbooks, I prefer final pieces to sketchbooks (are you the same?), but did your sketchbooks relate to every piece of yours or are they completely random sketchbooks? I have random sketchbooks haha XD
Oh and I heard you have to take a test before the interview??? D: what did you do for yours and how did you do it under time?? :O were you nervous? D:

Hello Irina! Time goes by so quickly, I still remember asking you about fine art last year!! But well done again for your offer But could I ask you some more questions? Firstly, your portfolio is amazing! I also have a portfolio but i'm having lots of trouble putting it together, how big are your photos and did you print it out and mount them on A1 paper? Do you mount it all on white paper or is it ok to use black as well? And how big are your installations printed out? Do you also have labels on each piece and stick them on the back? (such a silly question but i can't make my mind up and I'm scared they won't see, is yours long or just the title of the piece?) Also, apart from your portfolio pieces, did you include sketchbooks to explain each of your pieces or just sketchbooks of drawings/paintings? I thought all I had to do was put all my past work together but I didn't know organising it together in order was so difficult! Did you put the pieces in order of media? Thanks!!!!!

Sorry for such a late reply... About your portfolio, was your instaltion work your own personal project? And did you find the space and model on your own? Where I study at college, there isn't enough space for us to do instalation work, and it's something I've always wanted to do so I'm really interested in how you set yours up

I saw on another thread that you have a conditional offer from Christ Church in Oxford to study Fine Art this year, which is incredible!! I'm thinking of applying for next year, and after a lot of research I think that's also become my top college preference.
So I was just wondering if you could perhaps tell me about your interview and your portfolio, like what kind of things they're looking for in one, what kind of questions they asked, the tutor and anything about the experience in general really...

I'm applying for BA in fine arts; could you help me out a little? I havent had much background in the arts, only foundation and BSc in architecture, so I'm struggling quite a lot with my portfolio ):
what are the sizes of your pieces? mine are mostly A3 and even A4s
