    My speak Hakka to my parents but we are also fluent in Cantonese. However I'm not fluent in the national/official language - Mandarin.

    Btw, most BBCs (British Born Chinese) don't speak Mandarin, but a different regional language called Cantonese or Hakka. Also there is a significant British Vietnamese population in SE London so don't confuse them as Chinese ppl!
