About me

Hi, I'm Chris and I'm one of the paid dudes at The Student Room.

You can usually find me on TSR, in the gym, chilling in Brighton with a drink in my hand or with my feet up watching some form of sport.

CJ's TSR timeline

Exam season 2005 - I was linked to the site by a friend over MSN Messenger. What he linked me to was irrelevent so I soon left.

Early 2006 - I'm bored one day and remember TSR, so thought I'd check back and see what was on offer. I lurked.

May 2006 - Curiosity got the better of me and I joined up. I took to the general university and sports forum.
October 2008 - Offered and accepted position of Sports moderator
Summer 2009 - Applied for and offered internship at TSR HQ. Worked alongside RK, J, CN and P.

Late summer 2009 - Offered a full time position working in product development and customer support.

Early-mid 2010 - As we grow, roles shift somewhat so move into B2C marketing, which I still do.

When I joined in summer 2009 we had (including myself) 5 people working in-house, with about 2 million unique visits. We now currently have in excess of 30 staff and over 6.1 million unique monthly visits.

I graduated from Coventry University with first class honours (BSc)
I was also awarded Best in Department, which i'm very proud of.
