I don't know if it means I get paid more than them but my lifestyle has certainly been significantly better. I got myself a brand new car, saved enough for a deposit for a flat and saved enough to do my MSc. The only tough times I faced were during my MSc because I left work to focus on my academic work. When I finished the MSc it took 6 months for me to get a job. I finally have a job with a global consultancy but the money I'm getting is nowhere near what I was getting before but I hope that there are opportunities to progress within the firm.

Hey I read your posts in the summer internship thread regarding IBD with Moelis & Company. I would really appreciate if you could tell me their application procedure. I cant find any information on their webiste, how did you apply and did you send a cover letter?
I know its a bit late but after being rejected by all the banks I hope you can understand what I could be going through. Many thanks for your help.
