Edinburgh is a very good university, but you always have to travel by train from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Computer Science was supposed to be my first major, I used to follow all the technologies by software giants.
It is nice to know that a girl is interested in pursuing Computer Science,

Harvard is great for certain majors but for my major (comp sci) cal tech and U maryland have better programs. I haven't heard of Edinburg. Do you like it?

I am not sure yet. I am looking into imperial and cambridge in the UK. US i like carnegie mellon, cal tech, u maryland and duke. I apply next year though so I am still looking into it. wbu?

I really am not sure! I always thought we said it with an 'o' but what sounds like an 'o' to me may sound like a 'a' to you, haha. I wouldn't laugh at you accent! . . . well maybe but in a "it sounds cute" kind of way. I am used to an Irish brouge because of my dad. To me the scottish accent sounds very similar

I think doing FP2 rather than M2 is pretty odd, given what you want to do for degree why not do both?
