Hi, I see that you study medicine at cambridge, I have been offered a place at Cambridge but am really considering not going due to the expense and I'm a little concerned about the competitiveness... is it quite unfriendly or is there cameraderie between medics?
Do you know if the NHS pays for the final 2 years of medical school?
Alslo, is cambridge an expensive place to live?

anyways my point wasn't so much the blatant anti-India bias but more to do the said user's behaviour not just in this forum but in other forums too and if you read his posts then I am sure you as a fellow medic would agree with me that it's not appropriate behaviour.

And I don't think I have any interview. International students don't, I guess.

Cambridge told me I'd have to fill some form on their website if I wanted to go for a retake. There's one more thing. Both my parents, both my elder siblings, 3 out of the 5 of my uncles plus around 5 of my cousins are doctors. Adding to that, my dad has his own hospital and his own medical school, in my country. Should I mention this in my personal statement as to where the influence came from?

How about I show them the ABD and then tell them I'm repeating the D in November and the result is due in January. Will they consider it then?

I'm asking about the lying to cambridge thing because I got a D and B and I don't wanna show it to them. Can I just show them my expected grades?

And international students don't have interviews...

I want to get into medicine in Cambridge. I got the 2 C's in Biology and Mathematics. But I got a B in AS level Bio and an A in Chem and a D in Physics which I'm repeating. These are my AS grades. Should I lie to Cambridge and tell them I'm giving my A levels straight. I'm an international student bytheway.
