  1. Oh and I watched the Green Lantern film today. Centuries old monster that destroys everything in its path and has thousands of Green Lanterns scared that it will destroy them and the planet despite them having the battery on Oa. Is then destroyed by someone who is a ****ing moron in about 2 minutes using a not very strong star :facepalm2:
Has the sequel been confirmed yet?
  2. I have not :sigh: I have seen that it has been getting great reviews though so once my exams are done I might have to force the girlfriend to go, even if it subjects me to some Twilight style *******s in the future :sigh:

I saw your post about the GotY editions of Arkham. That would have been a great buy if I didn't already have the game or have to wait until September :lolwut:

  4. Scarlett Johnasson in the new Avengers looks :coma: :mmm: Marvel have done really well overall with their comic films so I hope they continue with the Avengers film, Thor was suprisingly good as well last year :yep:

Do you read the comics and graphic novels? I never have done myself as I prefer to be able to actually get in to a story and the small amounts of text don't really grab at me too much

That scene was hilarious when he was burning, hilarious and ridiculous especially the part were he screams to Batman that he is still burning :rofl2:

I think the one scene that showed the drive and determination of Batman was when he looked distraught and crestfallen at being buried alive but then looking over at his dads skeleton it all came back to him and to basically just punch his way out of the grave was immense!
  5. I actually really enjoyed it and once Bruce put on the cowl his character model improved, Supermans was a joke throughout though. They really didn't nail that one!

The actual story was really good though and it is entirely plausible that Batman would have contingency plans in place as he is a brilliant strategist and is incredibly driven and honest.

What did you think of it? When are the next DC or Marvel animated films out?
  6. The bad guys and girls have been treated much better than the Justice League models!
  7. I'm just starting to watch it now and I agree they are terrible! The men look so girly and childish, bordering on anime :facepalm2:

Oh yeah, it would be so much more dark. The Dark Knight sort of showed both the physical and mental suffering Batman endured at the hands of the Joker.
  9. Agreed :yep: TheRed Hood is a great piece of work, I just wish I hadn't to suffer through Robin to get there :awesome:

It is great to see the Joker (in the cartoons) actually damage Batman so much and for so long, I kind of wish they were made for adults so everything could be a lot more brutal :mmm:
  10. I am trying to watch it but it is so bad that I can't really get in to it. Everyone is weirdly shaped and has a weird white face with dead black eyes. I will eventualyl get through it but Superman has taken over

I saw the worlds finest a while back as a combined movie, quite enjoyed it tbf. Don't think there has been a bad DC Animated movie yet :beard:

Season 4 of Batman has too much Batgirl and Robin for me as well. I've never really liked those two characters or anyone who helps Batman in his standalone stories, it just doesn't fit well with his motivations and personality to allow others to take risks for him.
