I read books around my topic, did work experience and other relevant activities, researched colleges (they all have slightly different entry requirements).

Downing is not too bad (I'm biased since I'm Emma :P). The thing to remember with colleges is that they are the places where you eat, sleep, socialise etc. So pick based on what you want personally not which you think is easiest to get into

Well if you know early enough you can start to tailor your application to suit it which is easier to do early rather than later . Maybe they will think you are ambitious? Surely there is someone in your school that may be considering Oxbridge?

Well all the colleges are beautiful and that's a good idea, I fell in love with Emma straight away (it was my first choice). It doesn't matter if you don't get your first choice though

Seriously I think it is never too early to start thinking about Oxbridge, it may even advantage you Emmanuel. Which do you want to apply for?

Haha I was the same when I was your age! It gets worse as you get closer to the date
