Oh and the 'religion is a man-made construct designed to control the masses by fear' thread was good, you finally put into words what I've been thinking for a while.

If you believe that we have been 'created', then should their not be a reason behind this? why compared to other animals are we given the free will to choose between 'right and wrong'.

You believe that God exists, you believe that he has created everything in the universe and provided everything for us in order to live, oxygen, water, food, etc. Then would it not make sense that their is a reason behind it and that we should recognise god and ask for further guidance and provision from him. If their is a god, then we must return to him, otherwise the meaning of life disappears all together. Maybe rather then listening to the media and other people you should go and actually research religion from the basics, and not what it is today,
