  1. Thanks Alex that's really helpful

The south Kensington halls all look amazing so hopefully Ill get one of those.

    Thanks again!!
  2. Hi Alex,

Thanks for all the imperial info on the 2013 applicants page it was really helpful. I was just wondering where the majority of teaching occurs in the first year? Is it better to choose halls in south Kensington or barons court as its closer to charing cross hospital ?
  3. Kind of worried about extracurricular activities or whether I explained them properly in my personal statement. Like I wrote about being elected form representative and taking views and opinions of my form to the student council, it also gave me a seat on the council. I put football regurlarly which taught me teamwork ect and in my spare time I play the guitar amongst other things. I kind of focused a lot on my volunteering/ work experience. Put a quick line for what i was going to do in my Gap year.
  4. Yeah true thanks a lot. I did one paper called 'practice paper' I scored 5.3 but I think I got really lucky because i guessed a few and put B, 3 of them were B
  5. Ok thanks, I really like Imperial but Im a bit worried about section 1. Im practising for it but you never know what questions you might get. How did you practice for S1? Iv'e got 400Q book and How to master BMAT and the official guide. I am also thinking of revising AS critical thinking, stuff like that!
  6. Hey Alex I was wondering are you happy to be going Imperial rather than UCL or would you have picked UCL if you got the offer?
  7. hi Alex.. i was just wondering about what you write in your personal statement..maybe you can bullet point the essentials. Thanks.
  8. Heyyyy, so I know you don't tell people where they should apply but dude I need some help. You know my stats, and I really can't decide on my 4th. Please help me decide!
  9. Hi Alex! Thank you for all of that! Was really helpful!
Yes, would it be ok if I send you my ps? I'll PM it now.
Yeah I understand what you mean now by consistency.
    Thanks a lot.
Slight little favour, could you have a look over my ps as soon as you can (if that's possible), because I want to send it this week
Completely understand if you can't. Thanks!!

  10. Hi!
Saw your profile on the Medics and Applicants profile and was hoping for some advice. I am currently on a gap year and am re-applying.
    I have 8A*'s and 4A's at GCSE and achieved A*A*A(a) at A-Levels.
    UKCAT: 670
I've got work experience and gap year plans e.g. tutoring, care assistant at a care home, volunteering in hospitals and travelling.
What do I do to ensure an offer this year? What kind of chance do you think I have? Would you be able to look over my personal statement? And is there any med school you'd recommend that you think I meet the requirements very well for?
Thanks a lot and sorry for all the questions!
