I saw you applied for Finance and PE at LSE and was wondering if you were successful?

I'm looking to apply in 2013-14, but I am unsure of my chances.

I went/currently finishing my studies at a uni ranked in the top 40 in the UK.
My uni grade should be 73%+ in BA (Hons) Marketing.
I'm also one of the Uni's founders for the Investment and trading society and currently sit on the board and am in charge of all Marketing for the society.
I have a GMAT score of 720.
I have been trained by and hold a certificate from Reuters, showing that I am able to use their 3000 Xtra platform for trading and data analysis.
While at Uni I worked as a retail manager 32 hours a week and have saved enough money to pay for the masters myself and require no funding.

Even though my degree is a BA, half the units for year one and two were stats and required a fair amount of data analysis, these units I got above 82% in all. I'm worried that because I am not from a top tier Uni in the UK and that I am only expected a 73%+ from a BA- it will hinder my chances. Just wondering what your opinion is?

ohk! thanks a lot! lets c what happens. I am not considering taking a year off as of now. and also I called them up today asking tht I hve applied to both the courses so will it create a prob? but they too wer confused abt it. I am thinking of waiting for the decision instead of changing ma choices. Ill let u knw whtever happens...thanks!!! :-)))

I have actually completed Chartered Accountancy (highest qualification for Accounts) with an All India Rank of 29, I have done my B.com from Sydenham College, Mumbai with 88%, I have cleared 5 papers of Actuarial Science(maths relates course), I got 100 % marks in Maths in 12th. my GMAT was 710. But I think ill not get into coz I got rejections from Warwick n Manchester. They need a quant portion in ur undergrad degree. So thts why I m not expecting a positive reply. :-( But I wish i get into...whts ur fb ID? I am not able to search u ther...

I have completed my C.A. n B.Com from Mumbai with 88%. Do u think i will get into? coz i dont hve ni quantitative background as such...
