they sound like good modules! Can't recommend OT and church history enough, they're both AMAZING. Philosophy I'm still a bit iffy on, but I have my supervisions for that module for this term so will see how it goes and will probably end up loving it.
Unfortunately for the past couple of years the Uni have stopped Greek week so don't worry, know one will know each other that well! I have to warn you that people are highly discouraged from taking Arabic, as they really prefer people taking Hebrew and Greek, but having said that I think that Arabic students get the highest marks in the year! (and I'm pretty sure there is a girl doing Arabic at Peterhouse)
In terms of January exams, all the hebrew and greek students do a language mock (we call mock exams 'collections' in the divinity faculty) which is a shorter version of the real exam. I have a feeling that Arabic students might do a mock exam next term just before the real thing. And then there's no overall policy on other mock exams - my DoS is giving everyone at my college one (so I have an OT collection on Friday) but most people don't do collections in other modules. But if you ask your DoS then they will happily give you one!

saw you have an offer for theology at Peterhouse! Well done, I'm currently a first year studying theology at Fitz - you'll enjoy the course so much! And I think the guy who will be your DoS (and also probably interviewed you) was my NT supervisor last term, and he is lovely, if a bit mad....

Although in the second interview it was an actual interrogation. I was told 'speak until we stop you.' ARGHH. The more I think about it, the more I realise I messed up!

How was your christmas? Happy new year! I had pretty much the same actually,first interview was alright, second one was AWFUL and the third one went really well (but that was at another college). OMG YOU POOR THING! What the utter frick?! But using Weber, that's pretty slick my friend (Y). I mean, I had to do a test in Swahili but at least it expected me not to know anything...Also had to do the philosophy entrance as well as a passage. Then I had another bit of pre-reading where I had to compare and contrast three scriptural extracts. Yay well done! I've got offers from KCL and Bristol too . Ooh which college did you apply to in Durham?

Ah sorry, didn't think to check this! (obviously this demonstrates a fantastic ability to think...:P). I spoke about it a little but sociology mainly THREE essays?! FRICK! Well just think of it this way, if you get in that's nice, and if you didn't, at least you'll have tried. Besides, it's the luck of the draw...Have you had your interview yet?? They didn't ask me anythinngggg about why I wanted to do it! *outrage* He applied to Robinson but didn't get an interview because he didn't send in the work . He wasn't too serious about Cam anyway so I suppose all's well that ends well etc... Would've been nice though Ooh yes scary things... haha I'm not a boy- well I wasn't last time I checked anyhow . Yeahhh carbs are the best :P

Oh that'd be so lovely if you were at Cambridge too! . Does he like Queens'? The guy I'm seeing is also applying for Cambridge Theology (slightly awkward)... On another note, are you getting the mixed feelings about Christmas? On one hand it's like YAY CHRISTMAS!!! and on the other it's...Christmas can only come AFTER interview *dum dum duuum*
