Yeah, they are real. I have Asian parents, I guess I've just worked above my age since I was really young. On top of that, I've always actually enjoyed learning, which, I think, is the difference between me and so many people who are surprised by my results.

As soon as possible really... I think I started in the October of Year 13. It took me until Christmas to be able to answer any questions though

I wouldn't have been able to answer your determinant question at the time of doing my A-level exams... or maybe I would, but only because of my STEP preparation (because I liked questions like that and thus practiced them lots). I've learnt a lot since coming to uni though, which makes sense really And yes that website is insane -- way way above my head.

Hah, I doubt I know the answer to everything you've ever asked. But two years of maths at uni probably has something to do with the fact that I'm able to answer a lot of the questions that people ask on TSR. [By contrast, I can't answer the vast majority of maths questions asked here.]
