  1. UEA has loads of internationals so don't worry about that, they even have a soc (I think) to help you settle in. Norwich is going to be a city of literature, they have an international lit festival where amazing writers (this year, Andrea Levy, Sadie Jones and AC Grayling will be there) go to give readings and talks. Ian McEwan did the MA so I wouldn't be surprised if he visited. It's just amazing for the course. The town seems lovely and quaint but you won't be bored- it's not huge like London but it's not tiny so there's plenty to do. Go on the UEA subforum, there are loads of threads about the town. Xx
  2. If it helps UEA is pretty much the best place in Europe for the MA in Creative Writing. Great university an amazing atmosphere so if I were you, I'd definitely choose it over City.
