You gave me some advice a while ago when choosing my universities, (Im at Warwick studying computer and business btw) and I was wondering if you could give me any advise with regards for my inter/job applications.

My TOP choice internship/career is voice broking at ICAP, which i saw you had an offer for (I don't know if you accepted it or not).

Im also applying for trading internships across the board, but my main question is, how to explain my choice of voice broking as apposed to trading AND is there any point applying for IDB (as electronic systems seem to be taking over)?

My reasons for broking more than trading is it's a slightly more relaxed lifestyle (you do not take a position) but still similar rewards, my second reason is theres is more interaction between clients for brokers my third is it looks a lot easier to keep your job during a recession . To me it sounds like Im copping out of trading pressures which i do not think is a good response seeing as it's still a pressurised results orientated career (from what I have researched).

Any other positives of broking against trading I have not picked up?
