    I can't speak for Hertfordshire, but in terms of CAA - its as Artistic as you an get for a Computer Animation course. Its not worth comparing CVA with another Uni's Art course - The CVA is a Technical Director and Technical Artist role - so more maths and programming. CAA has some Maths buts its very little. We have Python Scripting, not programming in CAA; which is a very important skill. Its aimed at artist though so don't panic. I would say apply and do the art/Maths and Logic test - its will help inform you what you can do! The test is designed to help steer your choices - not preclude you from joining the NCCA.
