My topic was 'Are males more aggressive than females?' - Nothing fancy.
Ahh okay- Interesting how you switched from economics to psychology they seem really different?
Yeah same I thought City might want UCAS points and so I could use my EPQ but no luck of that
Oh okay yeah you should firm City then I personally prefer the feel of the uni and course of QM a lot more though surprisingly!
-
What topic was your EPQ on?
By lenient I thought you meant the offer itself of AAA was lenient and you was expecting an offer of something like A*AA, but they are quite lenient on results day.
I do there subjects:
A2 Psychology - AQA
A2 Economics - (OCR for AS - Edexcel for A2)
A2 Maths - edexcel
AS Sociology - AQA
GCSE english - AQA (City Want a B in this, One reason why I want to place City as firm is that it means I haven't wasted my time doing this)
- I did different exams board in economics because I transferred college and changed my subjects except for economic which I carried onto a2, you cant do different exam boards for AS and A2 in all subjects. I thought I was going to do economics at uni then picked up psychology and I loved it
- I thought city wanted ucas points so picked AS sociology but they want A2 grades, But when I phoned them up they said if I narrowly miss my offer they will take an AS into consideration
I don't plan to live out

Really I have no idea why mine is ABB- I did an EPQ in psychology if that makes a difference?
I don't think AAA is lenient I meant because you said City let people in with lower grades than their offer on results day.
That's good you're lucky you did unit 4 in January we are doing them both in June :/ So much to remember! Trying to do 8 hours a day during Easter but good luck with the remark
I do Psychology- AQA
Sociology- OCR
English language and literature - AQA
yourself?
Are you planning to live out? Because the only thing is if you put City as your firm and don't think you will get AAA and they aren't lenient on results day you would be at a disadvantage in terms of Halls priority with QM

Sorry for the late reply haven't been on here in a while!
I see. The first option although it makes sense it is rather risky as results may be a lot better this year and more applicants you just don't know. If you don't make the grades you might not be as lucky as you'd like with clearing. If you did phone QM up what did they say?
That's so weird I just firmed QM and made Westminster my backup yesterday. Guess I'll live with being a typical asian :P I also got offered AAA from City- had no idea they were so lenient?
So have you decided what your doing?
I wonder how lenient QM are I really want to go there but think I might end up getting BBB or ABC instead of ABB I really don't want to go to westminster.

I think I will decide in May
