Love Brian Sewell (in an odd, deformed way, lol) - his series about the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela was so brilliant!

The Capaldi programme was about the Glasgow School, have you come across it?

Yeah, he's such a clever actor (sadly, Chris went down on paedophilia charges, he was very good too of course) and Capaldi has also done some really good programmes on TV about art which I really enjoyed, did you see his thing about the Glasgow School? Brilliant programme, he was as cool as they get.

Ohh, what a nice memory to have! I don't think I've ever met any well-known comedians. I would love to meet one or two people. It would be great to meet some comic actors. Peter Capaldi would be high on my list and Miranda.

Not as such, no. You do get the colleges that have the tradition, like Christ Church, of being somewhat elitist. It's much less so than it used to be. You also get colleges like Oriel, which have the rep of being rich-kid hangouts. Like a lot of these stereotypes, there's a bit of truth to them, but not the whole picture.

Yeah, I heard Durham is like a branch of Roedean/Eton/Harrow. We have our share too though! I was one of the private schoolies who probably sounded a bit ridiculous to some of my fellow college members when we first arrived back in the first year.
