Actually an Atheist has 2 views, the broader sense is that no greater deity (not restricted to god) exists or disbelieves that any deity exists whether that be god or any of supreme being. You can be an Aethist (if you aren't killed for it) in a dictatorship country where they control your religion say Islam and still be an Aethist doesn't make any sense.
On the much narrower sense that no deities exist at all, that's what Atheism is nothing more nothing less I never get the reason why it's so hard to understand Atheism coming from a person that's been an Atheist all their life.
