wow, havent been on student forum in ages. and yh i guess everyone comes on here for gcses and alvels..lol. and yes..thats a lot of maths. I dropped IB spanish after the first term. its so hard to cope up with all the other alevel and travel. anyways.... yh u were worrid abut ur maths gcse paper. lol

Hi, WOW. ur results are amazing. wow. 10 A*s??? do u go to a grammar school now? Well i got into a grammar school in chelmsford. I am doing A LEVEL general studies (complusory), Biology, Chemistry, Maths and IB STANDARD SPANISH. What did you take? I wanted to ask someone a question thats why I logged on ...my Q is..whether there is a point in doing IB standard spaniosh. I mean its not even a a level. I am not sure. I only picked it cause it was avaible cause I got a A in french. hey . I am really confused and I thought you could help me a little. Well I am a gcse student and finished choosing my options. I opted for Chemistry biology maths and english literature. On monday and tuesday i had a induction day at some collage and i feel that english literature is not for me. I dont know what to pick instead of it. Yesterday I went to King edwards grammer school. I picked eng lit for there too but i want to change it now. I want to go into medicine. If i want to change my options i wuill have to do it this week. so can you please help.

I love art and i enjoy it. I am hopeing I will get a A or a a star in it. I hate english lit although iam predicted a A OR A * at gcse. but along with maths bio and chem ...i want to do something that is easier but would still get me into russel group of university. Will it be ok to take art? is it hard?

hey mike. yh my cal paper was easy! i would get 99/98 marks. i recon i got 170 overall, give or take 5 marks... its was ok i guess. its a shame i made silly mistakes in paper 1

seriously? god, you must be so worried. imagine being one mark off an A* , thats the worst thing ever. okay i do hope 172 is an A*. cause i remarked my non calc and got 178 approx give or take 1 mark. so hopefully, but doesnt it depend on how the UK did lol? so if loads of people get A*, it might get lower , we'll just have to wait till we actually see our results lol

no, its just boundary A*
my mark could vary between 172-180 im not exactly sure which is why im worried lol
why, what did u get?

once the A* boundaries have been 176 - 175 i think. but the thing is that im not sure of my exact mark for paper 1, its somewhere between 73-84 and then i got 98 on calc so do u think that would just scrape an A* or is it possible ill get an A?
