  1. ok
  2. Saw your post on work exp thread, and I was wondering how much you have done so far? I'm trying to check with a few people on here because I'm quite stressed out about it
  3. Hi pride how are u finding F215?
  4. Hello, thank you for all the help that you have offered me so far...
    just a very quick question to ask you with regards to chemsitry...
    you know these transition metal ion complexes , how do you actually determine theoverall chrage . i.e. the number which actually goes after the brackets on the top/... I know that I have asked something of a similar nature to you before...but just doesnt seem to be sinking in again.... for the overall charge on this complex, you dont really need to be considering the oxidation states of anything isnt it .
  5. vHello,
    you know before mitosis and meiosis can actually occur, the DNA must replicate and stuff...but this is actually really badly confusing me ... if this replication of DNA is occurring does that mean that the cell will have something that 46 * 2 chromosomes in total.

    and also how many chromosomes in total will the cell have when the first division of meiosis has actually occurred?
  6. Hello , have I got this right?

    Parametric equations is the topic that this is coming from .

    x= t +(1/t)
    y= t- (1/t)

    And as the final answer I got ,
    y=-x+4

    but I don;t think this is right?
  7. Hello, one another quick question to ask you about! how do we actually work out the total oxidation state of the complex ions formed from transition metals forming dative covalent bonds with ligands?

    For example; the book is saying (CuCl4)^2-

    But , how on earth, did they get the 2- from>?
  8. Hello, in terms of chemistry , which is bigger (they are both lattice enthalpy of formation values for Magnesium chloride- one experiemental and the other one is theoretical)
    -2526 (experimental )
    -2326 (theory)

    So , the revision guide is saying the experimental value is bigger - but my mathematical brain is telling me no the theoretical is bigger.

    I am not really understanding this--- if it is more negative , does that mean the bonding is stronger?>
  9. Yea definitely, we've really gone full circle. I remember how we used to dream of getting in :lol: feels odd to be nearly done with the whole process now!

    Good to hear that your exams went well! Best of luck for results mate
  10. Exams have gone ok, not too sure about chem. No more news for me, but should know byt he end of march which really isn't that far away. So are you still waiting for any decisions?
