waaw that really helped, okay another question, in my accomodation application they need 3 preferences, for me number 1 is weston, i really dont know wat i should put for number 2 and 3.
My criteria are: en-suite room, im a postgrad, self catered, and nearest to the north coz i am in the engineering school.

Yes I am graduated (only waiting for the paperwork to complete), Look at the campus map (search for the exact term) The city is cool, but I like big crowded cities so you might find it different. Manchester is the second best city in the whole UK for having fun, so dont worry.

All postgraduate taught courses are study study study, but you can always have fun. If I didn't have offers from the big 4 I would stay here for postgrad as well.

Just search for individual experiences of your department, a department might be very bad in a very prestigious university. Look at the rankings of student satisfaction surveys of the department.
