You're applying for Rhodes? Are you in university already, then, or high school? I qualify for Bright Futures, but it won't do anything for UK unis.
I'm aiming for Oxford, but due to my recent test scores the more realistic options are like Warwick, Edinburgh, St. Andrews, etc. What subject are you applying for?
-
Haha wow, weird coincidence! Yes, I am planning on studying in the UK Are you there already, or applying this year?
-
Great! Which cities did you go?

Oh, sorry for not replying to this, I hadn't noticed it
Purple is a good flavour... I had a can of purple fruity juice stuff in America. I have no idea what was in it, but I could practically feel my blood congealing into syrup as I drank it.
I hope I get to see it when the Cinema's empty(ish) so I can choose where to sit I don't think I'll wear an outfit, I'll probably just go around in my muggle gear

It was good thanks Although I ate way too much food, and drank some of the most girly looking cocktails I have ever seen.
Pink, why do you always have to be the nicest of all the flavours?
I still haven't seen 'The Deathly Hallows: Part 2' It's a travesty, I've never waited this long to see a HP film before.

I found in your post that you have been to my country; Burma? How was your experience?

- About me
- I am an adventurer and an explorer... everything else is subject to change. My curiosity knows no end! I just want to learn everything. Most people would probably call this nosiness, but I like to think about it as curiosity, because it makes me sound better.

I like people, but I spend most of my time inside of my own head. This is not apaprent to most of the people who I meet at first. I am friendly to a, perhaps, creepy degree.
I save bugs.
I also cry a lot. I am not ashamed of this fact.
I love nature! Being outdoors, exploring the Earth... It's fantastic.
I think the thing that I am most proud of is a performance art piece that I did in high school. When most of the students were headed for class I lay down in the middle of the road in a high-traffic area (people, not cars!) and started spouting a monologue that I was making up on the spot. I then poured a coffee-canister full of chocolate sauce on my head and ran around trying touch people while I talked about how I kept myself isolated from others and how no one wanted to be near me. Of course, everyone reacted to not wanting to have a chocolate-covered person hug them, and so they retreated when I came near, but still watched. This helped drive home my point about my isolation in a crowd full of people. I then climbed into a near-by dumpster while a friend threw eggs at me. I stood in the dumpster and talked about how freeing it was.
That's the kind of person I am. The kind of person who runs around spouting monologues in the middle of school, covered in chocolate and eggs inside a dumpster.
I love to travel. I am not sure what sort of career I would like to have, but I just want to travel, learn, and create.
I am studying International Relations and Philosophy, but Philosophy is my real nerdy passion... Who am I kidding? EVERYTHING is my nerdy passion. I chose International Relations, because I love learning about different cultures and figured that I could get a job which invo

Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster. And if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.
I don't really believe in monsters. No one is all bad or all good... These are just terms we apply to people to help us understand them better. Ironically, it polarizes the world and all we end up seeing are heros and monsters. Usually those we see as "monsters" see others as monsters and that is why it is so easy for them to hurt others. If we refuse to see people this way, as monsters, then we help to not perpetuate the cycle of hate and cruelty.
I do believe in the abyss though. It is everything.
