  1. That's what they said about the FTL neutrinos, but here we are.

How was this week's Happy Friday?
  2. It was Capital fm. Don't judge me.

I'm always pleased when I turn on that channel and they're playing something not in the top 10 of the charts.
  3. So decided I was going to sit down and do some Chemistry a half hour ago. Decided I'd turn on the radio at the same time, when I was suddenly reminded why that's a bad idea.

I've been having a rave in my room for half an hour instead... :woo:
  4. Just popping in to mention I got my first chance to have a look at your cooking blog today, and realised one of the first entries is called "The Essence of Fudge". SUBBED! :P
  5. Right. Tomorrow Amz. Tomorrow will be a productive day. I'm making this promise to myself and you.
  6. My sleeping habits are awful, so I find myself tired going into the beginning of the evening. I should really start getting to bed at a regular time. But noooo...silly body won't do it. :unimpressed:
  7. That was genuinely the most unproductive work session ever. I fell asleep for 3 hours instead.
    Least I'm back now, though.
  8. Either way, I really have to get to work now. Bye bye for now. :getmecoat:
  9. It's true that you do feel better after experiencing these negative emotions, but is it really a boost of 'feel-good' chemicals? Or is it just a neurological, or even psychological, shift of perspective once it's over?
I bet there has been research into it, I just don't want to get too distracted by googling it... :lazy:

You know you love me really.
  10. I always wonder why we as human beings like this sort of stuff. Good few friends who adore horror films, others love things that make them cry, and some love the shocking stuff. The emotions they bring up in us are generally meant to be bad, yet somehow we derive pleasure from the experience... :beard:

Sorry, Amz. Think it'd have to go a little further than enjoying depressing literature for you to qualify as a masochist.

    My bad, fun-size.
